Highway 17 Set for Overnight Lane Closure Tuesday and Wednesday This Week
Travelers in both directions of Highway 17 near Laurel Curve will encounter travel reduced to one lane this Tuesday, October 18 and Wednesday, October 19.
The reduction to one lane in both directions of Highway 17 near Laurel Curve will take place on the following schedule.
Lane closures on northbound Hwy. 17 on Tuesday Oct. 18 and Wednesday Oct. 19, will take place from 8 pm to 5 am.
Lane closures on southbound Hwy. 17 on Tuesday Oct. 18, and Wednesday Oct. 19, will take place from 9 pm to 6 am.
CHP will be on hand to assist with traffic control.
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist travelers in the area.
Travelers can expect delays of 10 minutes.
These lane closures will permit crews to perform striping and paving work as construction continues to progress at the Laurel Curve wildlife undercrossing.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
