The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) released an updated bikeways map showing bicycle lanes, paths, alternate routes and unpaved multiuse trails within Santa Cruz County. The bike map provides a comprehensive view of where bikeways are located in Santa Cruz County and how they can be accessed. The bike map is a very useful transportation resource to Santa Cruz County residents and visitors and is the most requested publication. Bike maps are always free of charge. The RTC’s goal of facilitating the use of all transportation modes is aided by providing a means for new and seasoned bicycle users to choose routes on which they feel most comfortable traveling.
