If you are planning on traveling out of the county in your personal vehicle, make sure to check out the traffic conditions on your preferred route before getting on the road and avoid delays in your trip by making sure there are no planned lane closures using Caltrans Planned Lane Closures website. (Santa Cruz County is in Caltrans District 5.)
