Cruz511 in Your Neighborhood

Published April 24, 2017

Did you know that the RTC is inviting some residents to Rethink Your Route as part of the Cruz511 In Your Neighborhood project? This Spring, households in two pilot neighborhoods — Central Watsonville and Eastside of Santa Cruz — are invited to receive customized travel information.

Cruz511 In Your Neighborhood is a program designed to connect with neighbors who are interested in leaving their car at home and trying other ways to travel. The Cruz511 In Your Neighborhood Team will provide customized information about travel options to people living in Central Watsonville and Eastside Santa Cruz; and encourage participants that would like to try transit, bicycling, walking or carpooling. If you’re in one of these neighborhoods, look for a form in your mailbox or a travel advisor coming by your household to take your order for travel materials including free neighborhood and Santa Cruz County specific travel resources, a free local coupon book for your visits to nearby destinations, free safety gear and other travel tips.

If would like your neighborhood to be the next to receive these specialized services or are an individual interested in customized information, contact the Cruz511 Help Desk and a staff member can assist you further.
