Open Streets Watsonville this Sunday, May 17

Published May 15, 2015

Open Streets Watsonville PosterDon’t miss Open Streets Watsonville (OSW), a free, family-friendly event on Sunday, May 17, 2015, from 11am-3pm in downtown on Brennan and Union Streets, from Callaghan Park (at Freedom Blvd) to the City Plaza.

OSW creates a car-free “pop-up” street park for people to walk, bicycle and play in a safe and fun environment. The roadway will temporarily close to motor vehicles and open to people for healthy recreation. Participants will find free fitness, arts and music activities, educational outreach booths hosted by local community groups, and a free raffle for all.  The goals of OSW are to promote physical activity, health, community and the City of Watsonville.

For more information, visit www.scopenstreets.org and like the Open Streets Santa Cruz County facebook page http://www.facebook.com/OpenStreetsSantaCruzCounty.

See you in the streets on Sunday, May 17th!
