FULL OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND HIGHWAY 1 CONTINUES NEXT WEEK IN WATSONVILLE
Travelers previously encountered a full overnight closure of southbound Highway 1 in Watsonville, between Buena Vista Dr. and Airport Blvd. on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, from 9 pm to 6 am.
This work will continue overnight Sunday, March 29 and Monday, March 30 from 9 pm to 6 am.
A detour will be available. Travelers on southbound Highway 1 will be directed off at the Buena Vista Dr. offramp and proceed to Ranport Rd. before reentering southbound Highway 1 using the Airport Blvd. onramp.
During this overnight closure, crews will perform testing and maintenance following recent construction in the area.
Travelers can expect 10-minute delays. Message and directional signs will alert travelers in advance of the full closure.
