Highway 9 Resurfacing Nearing Completion in Santa Cruz County with Final Striping Next Week
A project to resurface Highway 9 from Greenvale Drive to the Junction with Hwy. 236 (Waterman’s Gap) will be nearing completion with the final striping work to take place on Tuesday, September 3 through Thursday, September 5 from 7 am until 5 pm.
Motorists will encounter a moving lane closure during this striping operation lead by a pilot car and are reminded to drive carefully through this construction zone. Delays are not expected to exceed 15 minutes.
The contractor for this $1.2 million project which includes work in various locations in Santa Cruz/Monterey Counties is Granite Construction of San Jose, CA. This project is expected to be complete in September.
