Guardrail Repair on SB Hwy 17 in Scotts Valley 7/26

Published July 25, 2016

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – A one-day repair to guardrail that was recently hit and damaged on southbound Highway 17 between Crescent Drive and Granite Creek Road in Scotts Valley will take place on Tuesday, July 26, Caltrans officials have announced. Roadwork consists of closing the #1 (fast) lane along this one-mile section of southbound Hwy. 17 between 7 am and 12 noon. The purpose of the work is to repair a recently hit and damaged guardrail.  Motorists can expect delays of 15-20 minutes. An electronic message board will be activated to advise the travelers of this roadwork. Roadwork is being performed by the Santa Cruz North Maintenance and Monterey Guardrail crews to improve and maintain the safety of motorists. It is scheduled to be complete on Tuesday, July 26 by 12 noon.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over or slow down when driving through highway work zones.
