Published April 9, 2025

Final Striping on Highway 1 to Result in Overnight Ramp and Lane Closures Between Soquel Dr. and 41st Ave.

Construction continues on a project to add north and southbound auxiliary lanes and bus-on-shoulder improvements on Highway 1 between the 41st Avenue and Soquel Drive interchanges and to aid in construction of a new bicycle and pedestrian overcrossing at Chanticleer Avenue.

Over the next two weeks, final striping will result in overnight ramp and lane closures in advance of the opening of the auxiliary lane on Highway 1 between the 41st Ave. and Soquel Dr. interchanges. One lane of travel in each direction will remain open during this overnight work.
