Highway 152 Overnight Closure Begins 10/18

Published October 5, 2026

Full Overnight Closure of Highway 152/Lincoln Street in Watsonville Set to Begin Week of October 18

A paving operation will fully close Lincoln Street at Highway 152 in Watsonville beginning Sunday, October 18.

Paving and pothole restoration will take place overnight throughout the week from 10 pm to 4 am on Lincoln Street from Highway 152 to E Beach Street.

Detours to access Highway 152 or to get into town from Highway 152 will be available on Carr Street and Blackburn Street.

Delays should not exceed 5 minutes. Message signs will assist motorists traveling through this area. Community members in the area can expect loud noise during overnight construction. The paving work is expected to be completed by Thursday morning on October 22.

Road information and updates can also be found on Caltrans District 5 Social Media platforms: X/Twitter at: @CaltransD5, Facebook at: Caltrans Central Coast (District 5) and Instagram at: Caltrans_D5.
