Southbound Highway 17 Set for Thursday Daytime Lane Closure

Travelers on southbound Highway 17 near Laurel Curve will encounter a closure of the #1 (left) lane this Thursday.

The closure of the #1 (left) lane of southbound Hwy. 17 will take place on Thursday September 1, from 9 am to 3 pm.

CHP will be on hand to assist with traffic control.

Message and directional signs will be in place to assist travelers in the area.

Travelers can expect delays of 10 minutes.

This lane closure will permit crews to perform survey work as construction continues at the Laurel Curve wildlife undercrossing.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
