Highway 17 Lane Closures Continue

Overnight Lane Closures on Highway 17 For Pavement Rehabilitation

Highway 17 Roadway Improvement Project | Caltrans

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform overnight lane closures of one northbound and one southbound lane of Highway 17 (HWY 17), at Hebard Road to Highway 9 (HWY 9) for pavement rehabilitation, highway striping, guardrail repair and highway maintenance. Construction will continue from April 17, and completed by July 2023.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling. Please drive with caution through the construction zone.

Slow for the Cone Zone.

One southbound lane and one northbound lane will be closed overnight:

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM until July 2023.
