Highway 17 Overnight Shoulder and Lane Closure Starts 6/22

Electrical Repairs on Highway 17 to Result in Overnight Shoulder and Lane Closures Starting Sunday, June 22

Caltrans will perform upgrades to electrical infrastructure on Highway 17 north of Scotts Valley which will result in overnight shoulder and lane closures starting Sunday, June 22.

Travelers on both north and southbound Hwy. 17 between Vine Hill Rd. and Sugarloaf Rd. will encounter shoulder work and possible closure of the #2 (right) lane during overnight work to upgrade electrical systems. This work will take place from 9 pm to 5 am starting Sunday, June 22, and will continue Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24.

Message and directional signs will direct travelers in advance of the project area and travelers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes. Please be alert for crews and equipment working in the area.
