Highway 9 is closed from 1.7 mi north to 4.2 mi north of Santa Cruz due to down tree & rock slide – closed form the JCT of SR 35 to 3 miles north of the JCT of SR 35/at Redwood Gulch Rd (Santa Clara County)  due to mudslides – Motorists are advised to use and alternate route
