Full Daytime Closure of Highway 9 Monday Through Thursday Next Week
Motorists will encounter a full daytime closure of Highway 9 north of Santa Cruz, between Paradise Park and Glengarry Road next week.
There will be a full closure of north and southbound traffic on Highway 9 from Monday July 26 thru Thursday July 29, between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm.
A detour is available via Graham Hill Rd.
Motorists can expect a delay of up to15 minutes.
Note: Emergency vehicles will still be able to pass through the work zone during these daytime closure hours.
CHP will be on hand to assist with traffic control.
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
This highway closure will permit Caltrans maintenance crews to perform necessary shoulder repair and pavement leveling work.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
