Overnight utility excavation work on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz will continue this week and early next week and will result lane closures at the intersection of Mission Street (Highway 1) and Bay Street.
Travelers will encounter the closure of the #2 (right) lane of Mission St. in both directions overnight from 9 pm to 5 am.
The project continues overnight, Tuesday October 25, and will conclude this week on Friday October 29 at 5 am.
The following week, overnight lane closures will continue Monday November 1 and Tuesday November 2 with work scheduled to end Wednesday November 3 at 5 am.
Travelers can expect a delay of up to 5 minutes.
