Highway 101 Ramp Improvements Near 129 Interchange

SAN BENITO COUNTY – A project to resurface the ramps on US Highway 101 at the State Route 129 interchange and at Betabel Road will begin on Sunday, April 8.

Motorists will encounter full ramp closures at these locations on an alternating basis Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours from 8 pm until 6 am.  Detour signs and electronic message boards will be posted to assist motorists.

Motorists will encounter delays not to exceed 10 minutes.

The contractor for this $1 million project is Telfer Pavement Technologies of Sacramento, CA.  This project is expected to be complete this June.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
