State Route 152 (Main Street) Closure for Annual Watsonville Strawberry Festival Next Week

The public will encounter road closures for the annual Watsonville Strawberry Festival from Thursday, August 4 to Sunday, August 7 in the following locations:

• State Route 152 “Main Street” will be closed to through-traffic from Beach Street to Central Avenue on Thursday, August 4 at 6 pm until Sunday, August 7 at 11 pm.
• State Route 152 “Main Street” will be closed to through-traffic from Lake Avenue to Beach Street from Friday, August 5 at 6 pm until Sunday, August 7 at 11 pm.

The City of Watsonville will place detour signs to assist the public. Travelers can expect traffic to be slow through the area with delays up to 20 minutes. There will be additional road closures on nearby city streets as well for this festival.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
