Santa Cruz Firecracker Run on July Fourth to Utilize Shoulder of Highway 9

The annual Rotary Club Firecracker 1K, 5K, and 10K Run will take place on Monday, July 4 in Santa Cruz.

The participants will use the west shoulder of Highway 9 between Encinal Street and Golf Club Drive from 8 am to 9:30 am.

Drivers should use caution when traveling through the area with additional people on the roadway.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
