Daytime Lane Closures on Highway 17 Set for Thursday Jan. 11 and Friday Jan. 12
A daytime lane shift on Hwy. 17 between Vine Hill Rd. and Sugarloaf Rd., previously scheduled for Thursday Jan. 11, has been cancelled. Updates will be provided when this paving work at the Jarvis Slide is rescheduled.
For Thursday Jan. 11, travelers on northbound Highway 17 will encounter the closure of the #2 (right) lane, two miles north of Sugarloaf Rd., between Glenwood Dr. and the summit. The hours of this closure are from 9 am to 5 pm. This lane closure is necessary for tree crews to trim, remove debris, and clean culverts as part of ongoing preventative maintenance.
For Friday Jan. 12, travelers on southbound Hwy. 17 will encounter a closure of the #2 (right) lane between Sims Rd. and La Madrona Dr. from 8 am to 2 pm. Crews will be conducting tree operations and preventative maintenance.
