Highway 9 to Close Overnight at Sidehill Viaduct Wednesday July 19 and Thursday July 20
A project to restore a failed slope and construct a side-hill viaduct on Hwy. 9 continues this week.
Travelers will continue to encounter a full closure of Hwy. 9 on Wednesday July 19 and Thursday July 20, from 8 pm to 6 am.
The full closure will be located at 0.8 mile south of Glengarry Road, between the Henry Cowell Redwoods Vista Point and Glengarry Road.
A detour is available using Graham Hill Rd.
Travelers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.
Electrical and directional signs are in place to alert travelers of this closure.
The contractor for this $6.95 million project is Gordon N Ball, Inc. of Alamo, CA.
