Temporary Signal on Highway 9 in Ben Lomond to Activate Monday August 19 in Support of Wall Construction
A project to repair the edge of the northbound lane of Hwy. 9 in Ben Lomond will necessitate installation of a temporary traffic signal that will provide one-way traffic control. The project area will be located on Hwy. 9 between Hillside Ave. and Old County Rd. in Ben Lomond.
Travelers can expect delays of 10 minutes and are asked to allow for additional time during their commute.
Construction crews will excavate the area below the northbound lane and construct a stone and wire gabion wall which will add support below the roadway which was previously damaged during winter storms.
This project is estimated to be completed by the end of September. The contractor for this project is Granite Construction.
